She has a passion for fashion and networking with others on a level that allows her to get to know them and understand their passions.
She was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and holds a bachelor degree in Broadcast Journalism from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Charissa is a member of Phi Mu. She was crowned Miss Samford University 2006 and spent 4 years competing in the Miss America Organization.
