What is Fashion Trend Spotting?

Let me explain a little about what Fashion Trend Spotting is. If you haven’t guessed by now, it is basically what the title states – spotting trends in today’s fashion industry.

Why is this site different?

However, I define “today’s fashion industry” different than most would. To me, today’s fashion industry is YOU and ME. Take a look at what you are wearing right now. It might be jeans and a t-shirt, a snappy casual outfit, a cocktail dress or just pajamas, but either way you are wearing it for a reason. Maybe it matches the event you are heading to, maybe you just think it’s cute, or maybe it’s super comfy.

No matter what, you have a reason for what you wear everyday. My point is, you don’t have to wear an outfit just because you saw it in the latest issue of Vogue or InStyle. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with those fashion trends, there is also nothing wrong with your natural instinct on what YOU like.

This is why I say YOU and ME are today’s fashion industry. My goal is to show you how with this website.

Again, the idea is that fashion is everywhere we look. It doesn’t have to parade down a runway to be considered fashion. The definition of fashion according to Webster’s Dictionary is “ the make or form of anything”. Which means you have the power to create Fashion on your own! And many of you do, you just don’t know it.

I will bring out the Fashion inside of each of you and show you how to seek it out for yourself without waiting for the top designer names or celebrities to bring it to you.
