The Indonesian culture is surprisingly rich with fashion influence. I didn’t have to do much research to find a very appealing sight from the Indonesian people. Four women in bright colors walking a runway.
But what I want you to see is this Indonesian woman, in the green top below. I love the way her top fits – long with room to move, yet very tailored. Notice the broach at the neck. You may remember in my last post, I suggested a broach with the “Little Black Dress” to change it up and make it a little dressier.
You can see the broach is also a part of the Indonesian culture, yet she is wearing it in the place where a necklace would normally go. I’ll now work on designing a top with a broach made on similar to this.
This is my first post about clothing and fashion from another country. You will see much more in the future, as this is my goal with Fashion Trend Spotting.
